A typical loft conversion will take 4 - 6 weeks from start to completion,   with a large conversion generally completed within 8 weeks.
The example below shows a 3 double bedroom and seperate bathroom loft conversion with dormer windows. The roof was also replaced during the conversion.

Stage 1 completed, 3-4 weeks approx
All Structural work has been carried out, Dormer and velux windows have been installed, floor joists have been strengthened and insulated. All partition walls have been erected and plumbing and electrics are at "first fix" stage.

Final completion 6 - 8 weeks
Walls have been insulated, lined and plastered, carpentry has been completed, radiators hung, lights and sockets installed and tested. Final builiding inspection has been carried out and the loft conversion has been signed off and handed over to the customer.
